Playdate in the park

Today we met my friends, Laura and Nicole at the park with their girls Hallie Claire and Carrigan. All 3 girls are about the exact same age. Carrigan and Ava are 3 weeks apart, and Hallie Claire and Ava are 4 months apart. We all met at the Mt Laurel park. It was nice because it was a little shady today and not quite so hot. We shopped a little, and then ate lunch at Jimbo's in Mt Laurel. We had an eventful morning, and it was fun to get those girls together. We only see each other at birthday parties, so it was nice to have them actually play together!

Happy 4th of July! We had a great weekend with friends! On Saturday, we ended up going to bowl with the Congleton's. We hadn't been bowling in a while, so Bryan and Bryan definitely had fun! The girls were over it after a while, but it was cute to see them dancing around and playing with each other. They are so cute together! We went to Jim N Nicks for dinner, and then headed over to Bryan and Mallory's to wait for the fireworks. Well, as soon as Christian and Ava walked in, their clothes came off and the princess dresses were on! All the grown ups got comfortable , and we were set for the night!! It was such a fun and relaxing way to spend the 4th!

We had a busy day today! We kicked off the holiday weekend at the pool, then went to take dinner to the Congleton's since Bryan C. has been very sick, and headed out to enjoy some fireworks. We went with some couple neighbor friends (Tyler and Amber) and their 1 yr. old daughter, Alexis. We started with dinner at a Mexican restaurant and then went to Chelsea Park to watch the fireworks. They were really good, and Ava absolutely loved it! I'm so glad b/c she gets to watch some more! We had a great day and night!

These are just a few pictures from the past few weeks. AVa and I took a little drive out to Leeds b/c I heard it was really nice...well it was HUGE and without any shade!! So, needless to say, we didn't last too long. We did have a nice picnic lunch, but the heat was just killing us both! And, we have a family of birds that have made their home on our porch. It has been the sweetest thing to watch. We've seen the babies hatch and become bigger and bigger. It is so neat to watch the mommy and daddy bird feed them and even talk to them! When we are out on the porch, the mom and dad will sit on the fence and chirp to the babies, and the babies will chirp back! Too sweet!

Here are some pictures of Kate's room we've been working on!! I still have a long way to go, but at least the clothes are washed and put away, and the furniture is up! There are just a few decorations that I am still wanting to do! This is also a scary belly picture of me at 26 weeks! I can't believe I'm that far along already. This pregnancy has gone by so fast. I get more excited every day at the thought of having another baby! Ava is really getting to the perfect age to be helpful, and I know she will be a good big sister. I can't wait to meet baby Kate!

Grandma Fox's 80th Birthday

Here are just a few pictures of when we headed to Montgomery for Bryan's grandmother's 80th birthday!! We had a great time visiting with family and eating good food. And, we had a chance to get some good family pictures since we were all color coordinated! Grandma Fox is such a sweet lady, and we were so happy that we could celebrate with her. I hope I look and feel that good when I'm 80!!

Yay...12 weeks!

Well, we've made it to the 12 week mark! Yipee!! We had a very fun ultrasound last week. The baby had the hiccups and was moving around like crazy. The heartbeat was 167 and my OB predicted it's a girl to Bryan. Of course, he asked her for a prediction! Then, she winked at me b/c she has no idea! The nausea is MUCH better, still a litlte queezy in the afternoons and cooking is not fun anymore. But, I definitely feel better than I did. I'm hoping the tiredness will get better soon, too. We were just amazed at how much this little baby has grown in such a short amount of time! My next ultrasound will be in May to find out what the sex is!! We'll see if the Dr.'s prediction is right...I think she is!

Warm weather here we come!

It was sooo nice outside this weekend that we actually broke out the spring clothes! A huge change from the snow the weekend before! I loved putting Ava in some new spring outfits...we had so much fun playing outside and wearing flipflops again! We are ready for the warm weather to stick around for awhile!

Ava has become completely obsessed with dressing up! She is rarely in her regular clothes. It is so fun watching her prance around in her princess costumes or ballerina outfit. My mom got her this one and she just loves it! Now, I just have to sign her up for a ballet class. I'm thinking we may do that this summer! Doesn't she look cute?

Sorry, it's been FOREVER since I put anything on the blog. I've been fairly sick the past few months since I am EXPECTING again!! :) We are very excited! I am due October 4th. This is a picture from my first ultrasound. I have another appt. tomorrow, and will probably have another ultrasound, so I'll post that soon! This is a grainy picture of the little bean! And, photoblog is asking people to pay to post more than 5 pictures at a time, which I refuse to do right now. So, I may just post a few pictures at a time from here on.
